Ellen Morris Bishop photographs, writes about, and explores Earth's dynamic landscapes. An advocate for public understanding and involvement with geology, she has written and photographed award-winning books about the PNW and worked in exhibit/interpretive development & design as well as teaching. When not in the field, she hangs her hat at Columbia Gorge Community College. She holds a PhD from Oregon State University, and studied photography and design at the San Francisco Academy of Arts.
